    Default Tokyo and Hokkaido

Picked up some cheap Jetstar flights to Japan for May. We will be in Tokyo for the first couple of days and then heading to Hokkaido. Unfortunately I think we will have missed the cherry blossom by then, even up north.

I couldn't add to the last Japan thread because it was more than 100 days old. Are there any other recommendations for interesting woodie and or quilting places to see in Tokyo or, particularly, Hokkaido?
