Adelaide - Jointer Blade Sharpening Recommendations
Hi fellow Adelaide woodworks,
Just wondering if anybody has a recommendation for a saw doctor in the Adelaide region that will sharpen 12" jointer blades. Ideally something central. Google brings up a few options that look good but I always like to hear positive recommendations prior to blindly selecting from Google.
Cheers

Thanks Bob .... that is great. Whilst I would not put myself in the same league as high end cabinet makers I will try Complete Saw Works as they are closer.
I am glad I asked as I didn't find any information on this one and was leaning towards Central Saw & Knife.
Cheers

Just to round this tread out I ended up dropping off the jointer blades at Complete Saw Works. I was very happy with the quality of work and unlike some other companies that normally deal with more trade based clients, CSW were very welcoming of a backyard woodworker and were interested in what I was making and the like. They open early in the morning which is good as it is possible to drop by before work (6:30-7:00am or so).
In the end I had a couple of 12" jointer blades, a few 4" jointer blades and a couple of Carbitool round over router bits done at the same time. I cant recall the exact price but I thought it was very reasonable, considering I had the router bits done also. They also have a fairly good range of the Carbitool router bits on hand as well as the ability to special order.
Cheers
