    Default Bench grinder recommendation

    I was thinking of buying a dirt cheap second hand 8" from somewhere, then add a 6" white wheel. I feel this should slow the thing down a little.

    Or will 6" be too small?

    I'm on a serious budget here

    Or you could buy an even cheaper 6" grinder.....I've managed with a 6" bench grinder for years now, I was going to upgrade to a bigger one but another cheap 6" grinder came up and now I have two.
    We don't know how lucky we are......
