If you only had a few knives to maintain and did not want to learn how to sharpen free hand I could see the appeal. it gets the job done well for most people and the end result is a sharp knife.
I have a big family and when everyone comes up for the holidays I'm usually presented with a lot of blunt knives.
I get a bit frustrated with to many jigs though... I prefer free hand as its faster and spent my money on better and bigger stones!

The fastest way to get a very sharp knife is to use a paper wheel system. Razor Sharp Edgemaking System - Home Fast learning curve. Good for those who have many knives to maintain. I sharpen chisels with mine.

I've always believed that without the bevel angle and metal to support the edge, a crumpled but shiny edge does not contribute much. BUT, if the syystem is fast and you have lots to do, go for it.
Pass the chrome plating, please.
Strong magnetic properties are exhibited by iron oxide particles in the nanometer size class. Fact.
I figure I can do up an edge better than anyone. I'll fire up my old Akai reel to reel tape deck with a 7" spool of tape, set it to 'rewind' and hone like you have never seen before.
I'd like to see the contraption which is used for sharpening diamond knives for electron microscopy = no scratches visible at 40,000X. They cost $1,500/mm of edge length to buy and they cost $1,500/mm of edge length to fix when you upscrew.

Did he say 2 hours to do the knife?! My hearing isn't what it was.

If you have an interest, it's simple ethics to declare it.
You've done yourself a disservice not doing that.
Your post was not independent.Cheers, Ern

It's a little disingenuous to say that the fact you are the distributor is not the point. You are clearly linking its capabilities for knife sharpening to sharpening wood working tools and I think it's a bit rich to then claim that woodworkers, regardless of expertise is not your market.
I prefer to make that decision myself thanks very much rather than have a vendor with vested financial interest assume that I don't need to know that or wish to make an informed decision.

And expert woodworkers have gone beyond diamond plates. We are not colonial dummies downunder Bernouilli.
Re the OP, if it rings your chimes go for it. It's a mounted version of a Lansky or similar (and don't Lansky offer a mount?) with some tricks added.
I like to use a guide with whetstones on my good, Japanese, knives, and yes in time I'll grow out of training wheels. I should really start to think of them as tools rather than works of art \Cheers, Ern

I am not particularly interested in making a big deal out of it but in the interests of disclosure it would have been helpful if your post mentioned your involvement with the product.
Your post comes across as an end user but in reality it is a little deeper than that. A simple "I distribute and use this" would have been all it would take. You do talk about sharpening chisels which would be of interest to woodworkers, hey I clicked through!
If you are happy with the product then it is good to spread the word, provided you give the opportunity to the reader to know you have a vested interest and they need to take that into consideration when evaluating the product. Now proudly sponsored by Binford Tools. The reviews seem to range from a bit negative to 'meh', as well...

I apologize. My post was independent. I do not care how folks sharpen their knives. There are many good ways to accomplish that task. I would not recommend using paper wheels for sharpening chisels for most people. I have no interest in drumming up business here. I joined here a few years ago and have probably made less than a dozen posts. I happened on a post concerning knife sharpening about a system that is well known to knife aficionados.
