Default Drill bit sharpener help please.

Gday to one and all. My first visit to this site. Like very much what I have seen so far. Everyone seems to be so helpful. Which brings me to my need for help. I have inherited a "drill sharpener accessory". I can find no mfg name model etc. The base has a slot to move the device to or from the side of a grinding wheel. The stem attached to the base can swivel both ways. This stem holds a vee shape that holds the drill bit. A thumbscrew of a threaded rod allows you to move a bit up to the wheel. It has five Angle positions and the small metal piece that I assume fits into the flute of a drill bit. Alas no instructions . I remember that the bit over hung the metal clip ( in the flute) but I don't know by how much etc.etc. Hope my description is good enough for someone to identifiy the sharpener and may have the instructions or where I may get them many thanks in advance. billym

    G'day Billym,
    and welcome aboard.
What you have there is a sharpening jig sold here by Timbecon Carbatec Mcjing.and a few other retailers....one brand is Torquata....cost about $20, and there are a few posts in here which detail setting up the jig......so have a practice in the search section and I reckon you'll find 'em.
