sharpening mortise chisels
I have tried the correct sharpening tools from Ridgeway etc but found they were liable to chatter. So I now just use a cone shaped stone in the Dremel.
I have been known to file the corners with a needle file and stone the outside flats.
I have a collection of old Pom stuff, Robertson etc.
I did do a test a while back on the ones Carba-Tec was selling about 10 years ago and they held up on Teak very well.
Seem to remember a Taiwanese "Star" brand or similar being ok also.
