Jet Wet Sharpener
While using my Jet Slow Speed Wet Sharpener the leather strop detached from the wheel and fell to the floor (I was using the stone at the time). The strop does not appear damaged in any way but has suffered a bonding failure to the plastic support wheel. Can I re-bond the strop to the wheel and what is a suitable adhesive?
Cheers

I would dare say Araldite would be my first choice. Other's might chime in if I'm wrong or provide a reason why not, but yeah, Araldite. Just make sure both bonding surfaces are clean and roughed a little.

I would have thought any epoxy would work. I prefer the 15min stuff but even 5min arildite should work

Thanks guys, will give epoxy a go. Just hope the light oil used on the strop doesn't affect the cure.

Contact adhesive. Or shoe sole glue as a 2nd option.
