Saws, hand: Sharpening - settings required.
I'm going through a saw setting and sharpening mini project at present and I would like to find a table that contains guidance for the settings to use for various saws - saw type, TPI, set (in thousandths) etc plus any other relevant stuff like changes to make for hard timber etc.
Any help appreciated.

Thank you Jeremy, doing a little downloading tonight. I think the PDFs will get a flogging over the next week or so.

BTW Popular Woodworking has just released a DVD on saw sharpening by Ron Herman. Could be interesting - he builds houses with hand tools so he uses handsaws every day; that kind of suggests that sharpening saws is something he needs to know about!
Cheers
