Default Shapton Glass Stones eBay seller

Hi all just wondering if any one has ever had dealings with this seller http://bit.ly/1dUE404. Was looking to get the kit with #1000, #2000, #8000 and later the diamond stone.
    Cheers

    Buyer beware.

3 shaptons. 2 arrived. Paypal claim. Last stone arrived.

google ebay330mate review before you press buy.

Also be aware that the free shipping according to the vendor comes without insurance.

Why would you wish to buy these stones from this eBay seller?

I'm not going to stop you by any means, but I am curious to know why if you could enlighten me, please.

Well Stu, basically to save around $300 as the local suppliers are a fair bit more expensive can nearly get the diamond stone just with the savings unless you have a prospective place to buy that's competitive.

I'm surprised nobody has told you already.

    (Hint; look at my signature...)

I'm not going to tell you to get them from me, you're more than welcome to get them from the eBay seller and yes, you'll save money over the local suppliers.

I don't know what else to write here, if I should write anything else at all. All I can tell you is I thank you for the link, as it seems he's jacked up his prices recently.

    Which is nice for me.

Not to mention the advice, after sales service and how-to videos on Stu's web site.

It just gets difficult deciding which ones.

For your enlightenment it was when i was younger, more foolish and unaware of your site and after sales service
Also the purchase predates me being a forum member so a period of no enlightenment for me

Ok sorry Stu only on tap talk and sig is limited info but will check it out when I get home. I am new to the forums and didn't know your rep, I am all for buying local if its close in price as a business man yourself , if you can get 4 items at one place for the price of 3 at another for the same product, it really comes down to warranty as the deciding factor in paying the extra. Any way I am just researching and it all helps so thanks for the input all.

...highly recommend Stu. I bought the Sigma Power Ceramic set 1k 6k 13k plus the Atoma 'Economy' #400 for flattening the stones.
As a carpenter, I love my tools sharp as and this combo does it for me.
Why would anybody shop anywhere else for their sharpening needs.

Glad you are pleased with your dealing with Stu. It mirrors how I have found him and I don't think I have heard a bad word said. On top of that his site is a mountain of information.
