What, crossing the Nullarbor Plain by plane, with a bag full of planes to attend a plane-a-thon in plain daylight? Why, that would be just plain nuts...

Makes you wonder why no-one has thought of it before

the great planeathon that is being planned
I'm not sure if you know that the WA Old Tools Society is planning a spectacular presentation at the next Perth Woodshow in which they will be showing as many planes as they can get from members of the Society - there should be 100s and 100s of planes lined up around the room!! The mind boggles.

    the WA Old Tools Society
Do you have to be old to join, or do they accept young tools too?

Actually the correct name is the Handtool Preservation Society of WA. Can I sign you up?

Derek, I hope the membership fee is small because the cost of attending the monthly meetings will be a killer

They are a good mob the handtool preservation clubs. There are other groups in the other states also.

My two new planes arrived when I was away - I will have to make some more drawers to house the growing family. When I am in the West, I will bring one or two for a holiday.
