    Default Veritas honing guide skew

HiI have the Veritas Mk2 Honing Guide. my problem is that one side of the blade is sharpened more than the other, so that the bevel is skewed. Could anyone tell me what the problem is?
    Thanks

Had the same problem, after months and months of faffing around I realised it all came down to uneven pressure from my fingertips.

I have encountered quite a few plane irons that don't have parallel sides, i.e., they are slightly wider near the tip of the blade. In which case your edge will be skewed. Also, check the diameter of the roller to see if it is worn more on one side than the order.
