Veritas Honing Jig - Cleaning
I am looking at dis-assembling my Veritas Honing Jig for the purpose of thorough cleaning of the roller assembly. The aim is to completely clear the "axle" of grit.
Has anyone done this?
Are there any tricks?
Any pitfalls ie does the preset angle adjustment go out of whack??

I haven't disassembled mine. To clean the grit out of the roller spindle, I've found a quick blast with some WD40 (using the straw supplied) - followed by a bit of a shake, seems to do the trick.
