G'day all,

What does WB 8 mean on the old stones, its printed on the side but the other writing is hard to make out.

"Wa---- Dieston" WB 8, the WB 8 are correct but not sure of the "dieston"

The stone is not grey or black but a muddy color, marble like feel (if that makes sense)- but l haven't boiled it yet, to clean it, seems different.

The 8 stands for inches long, there is a faint nortons l think, on the side as well.

Any clues?
