Woodzig handheld pruning saw
I am looking to find someone near Medowie NSW who can sharpen a Woodzig handheld pruning saw.
It is pruning saw with a curved blade and a 'chainsaw' type teeth set and cuts on the pull strike.
I last had it sharpened in Ipswich QLD but have since moved to Medowie NSW.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Lyle.

Stop looking !!!
Well I found a local to do the job. Had to drop it off site unseen, but he said over the phone he could do it even though he'd never heard or seen the brand or type.
So fingers crossed it'll be alright.
We've had the saw for many years and it is a great tool. Big D handle you can grip with or without gloves. Back stroke pull so you can cut those flimsy/springy limbs.

Well what a stuff up.
The bloke in Heatherbrae near Raymond Terrace said he could sharpen the saw.
Well he has completely ruined it.
Completely different profile, widened and deepened the gullets and set a really wide set. My missus can't use it it is so viscious in cut, I even have trouble cutting with it it is so hard to pull..
Bloody useless.
The damage is done and nothing will fix it except to grind the teeth back to nothing and start again. But as the original profile is gone I couldn't even show someone what it is supposed to look like.
So I'm on the lookout for another for SWMBO.
