Default 2 cordless nail gun limit

I'd like to purchase 2 nail guns that will handle most of the situations that are going to arise where a nail gun would be typically used. I've done the odd deck, pergola, fence, shed, arachitraves etc and I'd like to see if I can get away with just 2 cordless guns that will handle these types of situations. With Paslode, Dewalt, Unimac, Ryobi etc all producing nail guns, do you think it's feasible that you can get away with just 2 nail guns, one that can handle trimwork and one that can handle framing, these guns would also have to be able to be used on fences as well as weatherboards and flooring. What do you think?

Thats all the majority of tradies have, 2 guns, usually Paslode, 1 framing gun,1 fixing gun (angled magazine) can get into really tight corners, the straight (90deg collated nails) gun limits you too much. If you intend doing a large amount of decking on a regular basis, you may want to look at the coil nailers, they take coils of plastic collated stainless steel nails

Thanks Ray, i don't plan on doing a lot of decking but i seem to be doing a lot of fencing so the guns i use would have to accomodate that. Any thoughts on what gauge to buy, thinking 16 gauge for the fixer as that seems more versatile.

For fencing or decking i'd look at a coil nailer they will still fire a 75 or 90mm nail for occasional framing.

The standard nails for cordless fixing guns are ok, must admit that I have never checked what gauge they are, its never been an issue.

Shedbound is on the money with the coil nailer for fencing and occasional framing

My next door neighbor is a journeyman carpenter. Totally DeWalt equipped.
All his nailers are gas guns as he might bang away all day long.
Doubled the size of his house. From the dirt to the roofing.
20x24' garage for tools & toys (Ford Shelby GT500)
Plus whatever professional work he does.

What he told me was this: What seems to go first is the piston head that hits the nail.
DeWalt have the longest life span. I rented a Bostitch electric. Did not do 1,000 hits.
