3 Funerals but no wedding
Been cleaning up the shed and reorganizing. This time I'm being as ruthless as I know how to be.
First to bite the dust was my faithful 25 year old B&D marathon drill. Finally burnt itself out after all those years of use and abuse. It gave up the ghost last year when asked it to drive one too many batten screws into the fence I was building.
Second to go was an AEG hammer drill I bought about 4 years ago. It could not hack the job of drilling into concrete.
Third to go was my trusty Hitachi 4" grinder. Simply worn out from 26 years of work.
Vale!!!

Salve impact driver?
If you are thinking of replacing the B&D you might like to consider a cordless impact driver. They are much better than a drill for batten screws. I have only discovered them in the last 18 months. I don't know how I managed before.
You may already have one.
