Default 305mm Sliding compound mitre saw options?

Looking for a 305mm that will bevel past 45 left and right. Any opinions when comparing the dewalt, metabo, bosch, makita? or any others that have these functions. I install kitchens so I would be cutting MDF, laminate etc.

Also are these new portable saw stands any good, if so, are the cheapies good value?

you cant do badly with any of the ones you mentioned. Most tradies tend to own a makita whether that is habit or because they're a bit better I dont know. I own the bosch 10inch slider and I an very happy witht the built quality, it also has a number of features that make it a little unique.
You can never have enough planes, that is why Mr Stanley invented the 1/2s

i own a makita 12" scms, while i cannot comment on other brands(only ever used the makita). i am happy with my saw, i have never been dissapointed with any of the cuts it has done, i have cut mitres on 100mm thick pieces of ironwood and it has always delivered precision work
