I bought another Triton 18V plunge drill today from my local Mitre10 store.
It was originally $280 but was marked down to $169.
Couldn't let it go at that price.
I didn't need it, just bought it for a gift for one of my kids one day.
Why so low? As you would be aware, Triton is owned by GMC.
GMC has gone into administration so M10 was selling of all GMC and Triton gear at rock-bottom prices.
Have a walk through a Bunnings store and see how much GMC and Triton gear is on the shelf. None! Zilch!

There's no such thing as bad timber. If it's totally unworkable then it becomes good firewood.

    Thumbs down

Well here's the update on my purchases of the Bosch Blue Series electric drill and the 14v Lithium Ion Bosch Cordless , 3 months later and i'm not real happy!! The Bosch Blue series electric drill died on me 32 days after I bought it. It started smoking and only working intermittently, I brought it back to Bunning's and because I had it more than a month (missed it by 1 day) it had to go back to Bosch to be repaired. According to the "experts" at Bunning's I would have it back in 2 weeks. Well after 4 weeks and a half dozen phone calls to the experts to get some kind of update I finally got the drill back. I have yet to test it but hopefully it won't give me much more grief.

The 14v Lithium Ion Bosch Cordless I bought the same as the electric drill now wont drill, its a great electric screw driver but when its in Drill mode it has no torque, its like the switch to select Drill mode is slipping, unless I put pressure on the switch the drill will not drill. So back to Bunning's I will go, hopefully I will have this back in a reasonable time as only half the renovation is completed.

So much for my Bosch purchases!!
