Advice on 18V Milwaukee Li cordless drill
Hi lads.
I need some advice on new Milwaukee Li-ion cordless hammer drill.
Based some earlier advice, I'm 'this far' from buying it.
The specs say it'll only drill to a depth of 38mm into timber. Is this accurate?
This seems to be significantly less than its classmates - the Makita - which has slightly more torque, more speed, an extra gear and less weight. Having said that, it's made in China, not Germany, unlike the Milwaukee. I'd rather buy German, happy with Japanese or American, but not Chinese.
Does anyone have one of these Milwaukees to provide this information, particularly if you've tried both for a direct comparion?
Cheers,
Matt

Cant go wrong with milwaukee and that drill has heaps heaps of grunt.. When they state the drilling size for wood , concrete or steel it refers to the width of the bit you are using not depth. Depth is governed by the drill bit length.
