    or there is this one.

SYDNEY TOOLS - Bosch 18 V-Li Cordless Angle Bradder

Being Bosch, you'd think it would be a quality item. and Cheaper than the Dewalt.

Thanks G, that's a good find, I don't think that it includes a battery and charger.

hey people. i have owed the aeg nailer since feb, 499 from bunnings, it looks good but doesnt compare to the dewalt or senco, i have used all 3 and would say buy senco, doesnt make the wind up noise, the aeg is a let down, doesnt fire the nails all the way through, 50% of the nails i fire through pine into pine i have to go around and hit them in with a hammer, im talking 20mm left out!! not just the heads, the gun isnt powerful enough, , i went back to bunnings with it and said its not good enough and isnt up to an acceptable quality, but they wouldnt take it back, they have sent it to aeg but i know theres nothing wrong with it apart from the fact it simply isnt built for the trade, if i have any luck and get money back i defo will be buying senco.

Guys, I have a question that you may be able to answer me. A workmate installs bamboo floors and 1/4 rounds also of bamboo. He finds that using a 16ga Paslode cordless/gas bradder does not drive the brads (37mm) in all the way when fixing the 1/4 rounds to the floor boards. Maybe the bamboo is too hard for the Paslode? or should one use 18ga brads (different gun) for such hard material? Or should one use a compressor driven 16ga gun?
    Regards
    Les

when i got my Dewalt, i did a test comparison with one of the other tradies who has a Senco, and we tested both guns on hardwood, and both guns drove 16 gauge nails into hardwood with no problems.

I cant see 1/4 Bamboo being a problem with the Dewalt, It really is a great gun.

    i love using it

Thanks Paul, I was keen to buy the AEG but Bunnings were so pig-headed about me trying it that I reconsidered the whole thing. If it can't drive a nail into pine then it's useless, I wonder though is there a setting that controls the depth of driving that may help, I guess if there was you'd already have used it. Interesting to see if you get your money back.

there is a setting like on the dewalt going from 1 to 6, i keep it on 6 to drive the nails in as for as possible but no good , yeah i will keep you posted on what happens, it doesnt help when the people who work at bunnings havent got a clue what you try and tell them

picked up my aeg finisher from bunnings on thursday after sending it back to aeg for 'testing', they said they put it through a number of tests and said theres nothing wrong with it, today i took it out the box and compared the aeg finisher to a dewalt finisher on a scrap piece of framing timber and lining timber, dewalt pumped the nails in great, aeg ..... pathetic, not one nail went all the way in, so took the finisher and the timber to a different bunnings and showed them......... money back straight away .. ha. now time to decide weather to get dewalt or senco

senco for the "cool" factor and a slightly lighter setup

dewalt for its simplicity and no need to get a nitro canister services after 100,000 shots

oh and the dewalt is cheaper

I have had the dewalt bradder for 5 years after previously using pneumatic and paslode gas .i'm interested in the senco fusion but after having a trouble free run with 2 dewalts for so long I can't bring myself to change. These guns have been used almost every day in that time and have never needed a service.i am astounded that these guns are not more popular

Thanks for that feedback Paul. I'll save up some more money and get a better brand.

Hi guys, have brought aeg gun home yesterday, used it all day today installing scurtings and architrives... Must say, for what I payed it is great, a bit too bulki, but all of them are, not too heavy, actually lighter then bosch and hulf the price of cenco. Shoots 65 mm nails with ease, a bit of recoil, but all of them do have one.
Paid $399 for it. So far i'm happy.
