aeg cordless nail gun
Yes, a couple of times. It was ok, Again, $400 is not $850 for Senco gun.
No worries with AEG one yet.

Bosch 18v cordless 16g nail gun.
Hi, guys. Just been given Bosch for Birthday. Love it, great tool. Did a few shots (50mm), works really well, at least with pine. Got it from Total tools Braeside for $275 as a naked tool. This is very cheep.
3 year warranty. And I don't work very often with hardwood, So it's great with softwoods. The only problem is - nails. They are not very common and therefore quite expensive and very hard to find.

a dedicated tool shop will have them. I buy the dewalt angle nails as they have never jammed on me, and work really well. the cost is a little more than the generic cheapies you can get.
i have had my dewalt now for over 18 months and would be lost with out it. it gets thrown in the truck on installs and its amazing how mush it actually gets used to tack things off till you screw em down. well worth the money.
you wont have any issue with hardwood. i did a comparison with the dewalt against the senco fusion and there wasnt anything that either gun could fire into. if anything the dewalt was slightly better as it had the weight behind it to avoid
recoil. the senco was quieter.

AEG Fixing Gun
Guys I have tested this GUN at Bunnings, at first i thought the sales rep from AEG was going to give me the good old sales pitch, but instead he handed me the gun and said nail as fast as u can and sure enough it surprised me.
I have used the Paslode, Senco Fusion and Dewalt over the past but have since sold them and bought the AEG fixing gun. The AEG gun has the fastest bump fire i have ever seen in 24 years i have been in the Building industry, i have 15 employees and they all have commented on how efficient and great the AEG gun is.
I'm sure if u called AEG direct I'm sure they would provide some sort of demo.
Cheers and i hope this helps

18v AEG nailer
Recently got the AEG 18v 15g nailer from bunnings, Works very well fixing architrave to pine and will work on hardwood, Takes a little getting used to and can be a little inconsistent on depth sometimes but once you get used to it it works well. there are 2 fire settings but 3 ways to fire.
1 Push in, pull trigger and it will spool up and fire after 1-2 seconds (single fire mode)
2 Pull trigger and bump to shoot (bump mode)
3 push in, and fire when your ready (Bump mode) much like number 1 but you fire when your ready.
the 3A battery is a tight fit and really needs to be slammed home to get it to click in.
I'm not a professional user so i cant vouch for it for trade use.
Overall pretty impressed that it will drive 64mm nail all the way into hardwood although a little inconsistent sometimes.
old thread i know but there is not much info on this gun

Hey guys,
If you see an AEG rep on Bunnings, ask him/her about demo days. They are easy to spot as they have the orange shirt and drives an orange Ute with AEG on it.
They might be able to show a demo model for the Cordless Nail Gun.

AEG cordless nailer
Hey guys I bought this gun the other week as im sick of dragging a hose around all the time but have always been skeptical about cordless fixers without gas. I gotta say it performed better than I thought. Easily fired through 18mm pine skirting and architraves on the second deepest setting without any of the heads sticking out as I've read before. The gun performed quite well on hardwood timber aswell. It was able to fire a nail through a 45mm kd beam on the deepest setting and sink the nail about 2mm in but on a 100mm cyprus post the heads always stuck out about 10mm. Easily fired into a 45mm lvl stud on the deepest setting. Not sure how it will hold up over time but so far so good. Also all these tests where used with 50mm nails. Hope this helps
