    Default Agojama drill

When I was living in the UK about 10 years ago I bought a cheap 14.4V battery powered drill of the Agojama brand. That brand still seems to be sold in Europe

It has done sterling service for me over the last decade and I would like to replace the battery.

Does anyone know how I cna go about finding out what batteries in Australia are suitable (esp if there is a list that shows what the equivalent cheapie brand was/is called here and what model of one equals which model of the other).

PS I know I could go to Battery World, but questions like this are fun...and the information help when dealing with some shop assistants (those who don't want to sell stuff and those who will sell you anything)
    Cheers

have you tried Jaycar at Hornsby? I bought some individual rechargeable batteries to re-pack my Fein 9V drill. Jaycar have 1.5 D size (and others) with the tabs already welded on.

Such greed deserves a reward. You could also try Accupack who specialise in repacking batteries for drills etc. I haven't used them for several years, but they were located off New Line Road at Galston (near Bunnings & Mitre 10). They keep (or kept) a large range of batteries in stock.
