Air Tools
I am looking at buying air tools for carving, sanding and anything else that is relevant. I am making cabinets, carvings and detailed work. Can anyone reccommend a brand of tools that are fantastic, reliable, easy to use and what sort of compressor I would need to use to run them.
Thanks in advance.

First a warning, AIR TOOLS use 4 TIMES the ELECTRICITY that a power tool consumes, this is used by the COMPRESSOR, they are not power efficient, but they are less noisy .
Most air tools are reasonable in their quality, I would talk to the tool shop and ask their advice here, There are several stores on the Sunny Coast,
Trade Tools (Nambour, Noosa)
Total Tools ( Maroochydore,)
Direct machinery( Warana)
These all sell good quality AIr Tooling, and can advise you on costs, brands and air volume needed.
As for a compressor, that will depend on the tools air consumption, I would however have it placed outside in it's own shelter, with some sound proofing, they are noisy beasts.

Good Morning Anne
Air tools are light, quiet and, in general, smooth and lovely to use.
Compressors are very noisy, no VERY NOISY, a real PIA and I hate noise. Before buying, I would suggest that you visit a few workshops and listen to their compressors and form your own opinion.
Many will disagree with me.
