Hi. Does anyone know if air tools bought from the US use std connections so as we can use them on a compressor purchased here? An example would be this brad nailer.

Most gear uses a standard 1/4 in pipe thread, generally female thread in the tool, sometimes with a male to male adaptor or a hose fitting already installed but removable. There are currently about 4 or 5 families of hose connector fittings available in Aus, as male or female fitting, with male thread, female thread or hose barb for the tool/hose end. Therefore you should be able to make use of any fitting family you desire or currently use, with the possibility that you might discard an installed fitting.

The exceptions are high flow items, like HVLP spray guns with dedicated air sources and high volume goodies like full size jack hammers with huge air lines.

Like many other Woodcraft items, the item you linked drop ships direct from the manufacturer, and often with this arrangement, the manufacturer won't ship outside the US. Check on this before proceeding with this deal.
