Peter Millard - YouTube 10 Minute Workshop - is selling an interesting loose tenon jig:
Loose Tenon Jig Plus [video 493] - YouTube
From memory Peter’s jig is for one size of material only.
The AliExpress one looks interesting.

Have you seen this jig, seems a little more flexible.
6-IN-1 TRIM Router Jig - freehand routing, inlays, edge-banding, mortises, dados, circles & more! - YouTube
I know katz moses now sells ready made up versions of you don't want to make it yourself

What a shame.
This is a ripoff of the Tianli handheld morticing jig I follow on Instagram.

Sure the user has to do the “ wobbling” but the outcome is the same.
If you are using them all the time in a business the speed of the Domino would be an advantage but for a home shop they are a very expensive tool for the amount of use it will get and one of these other variants would do the job.
I am surprised that none of the other suppliers hasn’t come up with a cheaper variant

Love the typo thread heading - a "doomino" is what happens when you forget to set one of the many parameters on your domino. Correct cutter - check. Correct plunge depth for domino - check. Correct fence height - check. Correct fence angle - check. Cut set to tight/loose type - check.
Lost count of the times I've been caught out by overlooking one of these

festool i believe have a patent on this type of system and no doubt waive a few "cease and desist" notifications for people planning on releasing something similar. Of course in china this means nothing unless you somehow manage to get the patent there.
festool also know their market and the power of advertising and have basically convinced everyone you need this tool. It's also very well made and holds it value all stuff a competing business has to go up against

The dude in the AliExpress intro video was saying the device is made by "Ganwei".
So I looked that up and here is the original: Ganwei Palm Router Cutting Notches Tool
Looks like they are iterating fast.
Looks like a fairly neato device to have for quick tenons.
Mr Brush is exactly right - the number of times Ive overlooked one of the settings and misplaced a domino-hole.... doh!!!!
