Default Angle Grinder - Turbo/Diamond Discs

    Hi All,

I've got a few concrete pavers to cut so went hunting for a diamond/turbo disc for my Bosch angle grinder. Problem is, the angle grinder says "Max Disc Diameter 100mm" but every brand diamond/turbo disc is 105mm. Is this a problem, or will it be ok? (Metric conversion issue?)

    Dave.

If it doesn't hit the guard it will be fine. Assuming the guard is still in place. I would 'never' remove a guard because I only had a larger diameter disk on hand and was too lazy to drive to the hardware shop 10 mins down the road because I only had to cut a couple of things.

I had no trouble finding a 100mm diamond blade.....

As has been said, provided it fits inside the guard then no problems. (I believe it's a metric conversion thing.)

At 105mm diameter, that's a mere 2.5mm extra "depth of cut" and it only takes a few cuts before it'll knock it back to 100mm anyway.
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.
