Bigger AH batteries at the same voltage
CRAFTSMAN V20 Brushless RP 7-1/4" Circular Saw Review - YouTube
I saw a post below about how it should make no difference when using a tool - it being the capacity of the battery vs. the voltage. Outcomes are more important than simplified theory.
I don't use too much in terms of power tools except for grinders and a drill press, but I do have a gaggle of cordless tools.
Anything with any significant draw is hugely different depending on battery size. Maybe not narrow bits on a cordless drill, but when you get into large auto size impacts and circular saws or yard tools, it makes a huge difference to have bigger battery capacity.
This is not a new thing and not exclusive to lithium. Regular 12v batteries have enough power to turn over a tractor, but they can't discharge fast enough - bigger batteries for bigger motors even if they don't threaten the AH capacity of the batteries.
