bit off more than I can chew, a gloat gone wrong?
Hi all, one of the reasons I joined this group is a new found interest in woodworking to go along with my metalwork. I have always been active making things but now I would like to build some nicer, decorative furniture - always wanted a grandfather clock as well..
I also saw on this forum an idea that some kind person gave me as I was browsing catalogs. That was the 'baby bonus', my wife wants another baby so I just proposed the baby bonus to her - with a straight face of course. Next day I went shopping and a truck turned up shortly thereafter. I spent today unpacking
I got a jet full size oscillating spindle sander, powermatic 15s thicknesser, trupro 8" jointer, another extractor and a mbs 300 trupro tablesaw with sliding table.
That sounds like a gloat right? My workshop is too small boy is it going to take some doing to get it all in. I know for sure I wont be putting the sliding table on the saw. Oh well. I basically got the sliding table for free after some negotiation with with dealer after something previous went wrong so I dont feel ripped off.
Everything except the saw will be on wheels so it will be usable, just cosy.
Thanks,
Jason

Hehe, I am getting by
It's certainly going to be a hassle thats worth it. I also remembered I have a friend who is a sparky after paying another electrician to put a new point in which cost $500. He came today and put in some more and did all my lighting at the same time. It took him a few hours but it was a pretty good day for me and only cost some pizza and coke.
thanks,
Jason

Could be worse... I have a new big shed (want a bigger one ) & plenty of toys (want more ) but I still don't have power in the new shed after 3 years.
It will happen... the wiring is in, the cable is in the ground but, currently we are working on renos on the house so I haven't had a chance to put the sheeting on the wall in the shed so the electricals can be fitted off.
The old shed with power has all the stuff out of the house stored in it at present & I'm not allowed to make dust in it so, I'm using the house and the veranda as the shed at present.Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

So basically, your wife is bribing you with all these new tools to have sex with her? I'm sorry, but in my house that just doesn't compute! You lucky devil!
