Bolts & Drill bit query
Hi there friends...
Just wondering if someone can advise me on what splade bit looks like (thats what I use drilling the hole for the "sunken" bolt?????) and also a coach bolt to use on 150mmX25mm attaching it on a 90mmX90mm post......
Thank you so much,
Chris

Coach bolt, aka "carriage bolt." Other nomenclatures include "round head square neck bolt" and "step bolt" (generally flatter dome). These all require a nut and washer at the far end. The square neck locks the bolt in the hole, and allows fastening without need for a spanner at the head end.
