Bosch cordless drill clutch - repairable?
I've a Bosch 12V cordless drill on which the clutch has dies, or is at least on the way to clutch heaven. It still has plenty of power and the batteries hold a charge but even with the clutch setting on 'drill', the clutch slips and makes a horrible noise.
Can these things be rebuilt? I guessing for the price (about $100 from memory) the answer will be no.
I've ordered a new one (pictured) but If I can salvage the current one, I will.Geoff

I would say save your money, a lot of people spend $100 on a gearbox to find the switch or battery goes next costing another $100 or so, best to buy new & have the warranty, hopefully they last as long as the old one

Thanks for that, I'll keep using it until the clutch setting is too low to make it useable - then I can take it apart!
