Haha they look awesome but I have a corded 10" scms. It's heavy but it monsters 200 x 80 hardwood sleepers even with a dull blade. Not bad for a Ryobi.

Maybe the 4" grinder next. I hope they release a decent Fluro work light soon.
    Cheers,
    Shannon.

this was the major reason for me upgrading from 9.6v over to LXT. The new tagging rules are tough on commercial sites. if you have 1 charger only to tag, your laughing, actually its two for me as i have the dewalt 18v finishing nail gun.

    What's new about them?

In Victoria they haven't changed in the last 15+ years. Still every quarter for tools and every month for portable RCD's.

My brother is an electrician. He gets all his Makita gear (and he has heaps) on Ebay. I have never bought anything from Ebay yet but he reckons that he can save a lot of money that way.

Depends. Some sparkies want your first born, others will do a dozen or more tools for a slab. As we are generally the head contractor we work out a deal with our sparky so no money changes hands. At a guess, around $5 per tool?

If you've got 20 plus things needing tagging, go do a 1 day course with the MBA, buy a 'pass/fail' tester ($600ish) and do them yourself. Would pay for itself after 2 years.

And I have been on some industrial sites who only recognise tags that have been done by their own sparkies. Hige waste of time and money, thank god for high performance batteries. I would be stuffed if the best that you could get were still 12v nicad tools

Milwaukee M18 Impact Driver 2650-20/2650-21 Bit Holder | eBay
i am pretty sure that's the right part number. I definitly got it off that seller anyway.
I just received two bit clips from this seller. Great quality, can't tell the difference between eBay and supplied. For $5.50ea plus ~$2 for postage was a steal.

    Thanks for the tip.
    Cheers,
    Shannon.
