what to buy
G'day all i'm a newbie and getting into woodwork. I am moving out of Brisvegas to Laidley country area, and want to buy a tablesaw, a thicknesser, a jointer or combination, and a decent d/c possibly a 3 hp one. SWMBO wont let me have a lot of money so i am somewhat restricted on what i can get. I only want to make furniture and bits for my kids and friends, hopefully using local timber. At some stage i want to get a dado blade for the sawbench, but went A over T when i saw the price. Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

What to buy
thx for ur reply. It depends on the kamp kommanders mood on the day, lol. I'm hoping in the region of $1500.00, but knowing the kamp kommander as cheap as possible, with the usual excuse of u got enough tools anyway.
Still open to thoughts and advice

See other thread! I think you will need a little more than $1500 to get everything!
