Carbatec Drum sanders
Hi all,
Did a search on drum sanders with mixed results.
Has anyone seen or used the carbatec drum sanders? In particular the MS25B 635mm machine or the smaller 455mm open ended machines. Any idea how much in mm they could remove in one pass with say 40 or 60 grit paper?
TIA
AD

hey bloggs ive got a ms25 b and the major problem i have is getting burn lines on the sanding drums . maybe my dust extraction isnt quiet up to it .by going to a heavier grit 80 and 120 helped a lot . its great on smal pieces 4 inches and smaller but strggles on the larger bits . i think they were desighned with softwood in mind as i dont have much trouble with huon . cant take too much of in one pass lighter passes the better having said all that its still a boon to any workshop .
