I agree, a vast improvement on the old site but very hard to find products - try looking for a drill press.
I will take the time to tell them so, and suggest more sub-categories, or at least sort by product type not name.Great minds discuss ideas,
average minds discuss events,
small minds discuss people

Yep .... more sub-categories would help. I tried looking through books yesterday and gave up as there were so many pages. It is good to see that they have put up a large range however.
The new site is a good foundation .... it just needs some tweeking to make viewing better. I am sure that radforms will pass on the views next time he is there sorry couldn't resist.

I bought 8 of their alumimium sash clamps last month at full price. Doh!!
They are great, light weight meaning that they won't put too much torque on the work and easy to use. Lots of gradations and much much better than the cast iorn clamps.
They don't look like they will take much pressure however and not much use to a commercial workshop, don't look like they have the same life as a cast iron one.

I had a chat to Matt this morning on the live chat line which works well, that will be a real bonus for this web site.
I discussed the 4 bit router set priced at $20 last week and this week it is $27, he said he would follow it up but was very interested in comments from users about the sites functionality.

If they are in breach of Section 53c then so am I and many, many others. Our Online Order is ex GST with a statement that 10% GST will be added for all sales made in Australia.
It's a hell of a lot easier for our Aussie buyers to add 10% than it is for our overseas purchaser try and work out the cost without the GST.

I didn't write the Act, I am just telling you what it says. I also understand what you are saying about overseas buyers, but the Trade Practices folk regard advertising prices exclusive of GST as misleading conduct, except where you are quoting a price on a business to business basis. The fact that you and others may be doing it, (I had a look at your site) does not change anything. A simple phone call to the ACCC will verify that what I am saying is correct, and I am not "finding fault" with Carbatec, just pointing out facts. Please yourself really.
