Used ML-393 Planer/Thicknessers at Hare & Forbes
Hi,
When I was down at Hare and Forbes in North Parramatta (NSW) the other day, I noticed a few of these machines used going for $995 if anyone is still interested. There was a chap on one of our forums who from memory was recently looking for this particular model.
Also Carbatec tell me they are no longer bringing in the ML-392 models. This is interesting.
So I ended up buying a 6" Hafco jointer for $350 brand new from H & F and will get a decent thicknesser later if I decide I really need it.
Cheers,
Ozzie

One of our local hardware stores sells something very similar to the ML-392 for under $900, although tempted I haven't quite brought my self to ordering one. They also have a copy of the 15" carbatac thicknesser reasonably priced as well. I don't think the machine is dead yet.
