Carbide cutter head
Hi
Anyone have one of these?
Apart from the price what do you think?
Can they be bought here in 'stralia?

You see something new every day !, doesn’t say if you can replace the cutters does it, so I assume it’s disposable.
It would have to last a very long time to be cost effective at that price and you would have to add duty and GST if not availible in Australia.
Cheers

There is also a 6" and an 8" version available.
Even at US$900 for the 15" its not too bad, specially with our $ the way it is.
No more blade changes, just turn the carbide.
Smaller version............

the cutters seem to be the standard square carbide cutter used in various cutter heads. The scribe teeth on my rebating head are they. About $2 each at any real serious saw doctor.
but count em, surely a carbide blade would be better.
