Cast iron router table
Has anyone seen anything similar to this is Aus?

I have a table saw with cast iron wings and this would be perfect!

You can use/adapt your TS fence and you will have to add mitre track. Here's a link showing how I did my router extension wing mods - you need to scroll down the page a bit to see the pictures. I estimate mine cost all up around AUS$230

That looks an awful lot like the router table/ TS wing unit I saw last time I went to Carbatec Sydney - they had it placed on the wrong side of a TSC-10.

A few years back we had this incredibly long thread about designing the idea router table. It went on forever! (I think it is in the Best section).
My contribution was the router table I built onto my tablesaw, along with the fence I attached to the tablesaw fence.
For the top I use an offcut of a laminated kitchen benchtop. This was cheap (free) and thick. Also, it did not have the disadvantages of the weight of cast iron when attaching securely.

The fence was built out of aluminium section. I am not sure how the Benchdog version came to look so much like mine (mine definitely was designed and built before the BD one!). Anyway, it has dust control and adjustable MDF faces. It cost a few dollars only.

We do however regularly sell our Engineered Router Table tops to suit table saw wings. Really all that is necessary is a stable flat surface. Have a look at http://www.woodworksupplies.com.au/webcontent4.htm
These tops are routed to suit the Woodpecker Phenolic Plate or UniLIFT and work out far more economical than cast iron. We also supply a lot with the Incra TS fence system, as Incra have a wing table mounting kit that integrates with their rail system.
Either way placing a router table on the wing of a table saw is a smart move and saves valuable space.
I hope this answers your questions.
