I've been cruising around these forums for quite some time and I've always managed to find an answer to all my questions so far.

I've "inherited" (stolen from my father) a Charles and Hunting Tablesaw.
The tablesaw still goes OK, I have used it several times. There is a planer attachment which fits on the side which I haven't used yet as the bearings need replacing and the blades need sharpening. There is also a guard and riving knife which I need to put back on. I am guessing that the electrical wiring is different from original and I know the motor has been rewound once. For now, I've got the following questions:

a) Does anybody know how old it might be? I am guessing it is over 50 years old.

b) Restore or leave as is? I am sure there are differing opinions, I'd like to restore it to original and I would love to here from anybody who may be still using one.

c) There is also some sort of dowelling jig ?? on the opposite side to where the planer attach's. If anybody has some idea about it, I'll take another photo.

Cheers, CC&C.
