    Default Chisel Grinding Jig Templates

I have just purchsed one of Carba-Tec's Chisel Grinding Jigs (CJ-04) I intend to use with a 200mm wheel. I have discovered the set of templates provided with the instructions are for lathe tools only. None of the templates is appropriate for an angle of 25 - 30 degrees for use with normal woodworking chisels or plane blades.
Can anyone assist with either the theory or practice for determining the angle of the tool rest to achieve a grinding angle of 'x' degrees.
    Thanks in advance.

Set up the rest by eye with the grinder stopped, if you look at where the wheel touches the tool from the side you can make adjustments until the wheel touches in the center of the bevel (this will maintain the original bevel angle of the tool). And you'll find a protractor (see pic) of some sort handy to measure the angle of the bevel either before or after grinding if you want to change the original angle.
