Question Circular saw blade to cut caravan annex?

    Help needed please.

My parents are getting a new solid annexe for their van and need to cut a couple of panels to fit windows. The panels are polystyrene sandwiched by colourbond steel.

Does anyone know if this can be cut with a circular saw?
If so what type of blade would you recommend?
If not what other method would you use?

    Thanks
    Steve

I have heard that you can cut colourbond with a normal circular saw blade put on backwards. The colourbond would be the tricky bit, the ply and foam would be easy.

I haven't tried it, someone else may be able to confirm.
    So many ideas........so little skill........

You could try to find a metal cut-off wheel for an angle grinder that fits your circular saw.

Never heard of the backwards blade but if you try it, do it SLOOOOOWWWWWLY

A metal cut off disc will cut the colorbond alright but the red hot sparkes will melt awaya big amount of the polystreyne. I would use a normal circular saw blade on back wards. But don't use a tungsten tipped blade or you will tear the tungsten off and have shrapnel flying around
    Just do it!

    Kind regards Rod
