Compressor
I have just picked up from Bunnings Broadmeadows one GMC 2.5HP, compressor with 40L tank for the tiny price of $98. That is interesting as last week the same item would have cost $199!
Whoever needs one of these babies I suggest you RUN for the nearest Bunnies!!!You can never have enough planes, that is why Mr Stanley invented the 1/2s

Hey, Routermaniac
Dunno much about compressors, has it got enuff guts to run a framing nailer or would it be more suited for say a brad gun similar to His Normness's ?

Sorry mate not an expert either but I gather you dont need much grunt for the framing guns... I'd double check with someone who knows.

The only real difference between the 24L and 40 L models is that the larger tank doesn't need to be recharged as often. That's a great price for the larger model, i wonder if it was a mistake because the 24L has been in Bunnies for $98 all year.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

I am of the understanding that GMC were not able to supply Bunnings with enough of the smaller compressor as per their agreement for a special.
Apparently GMC were then made to supply the larger unit at the same price as the smaller unit. Bunnings then sold (is still selling) the larger unit until the designated amount of units per store has been sold.
Mick.
