cut off saw
To cut screen material it is far better and you get a much cleaner cut if you buy a proper soft metal blade. You may not need to buy one as big as the saw is able to take. I have a 250mm saw but I only use a 180mm metal blade.

Negative rake blade is what they use, clamp down the piece for safety's sake.

I use a metal/Al cutting blade without any problems, but I bought a cheaper drop saw to do it, as you void your warrantee on your saw (if you use it for anything else from what it was designed for, ie other than timber). And yes, clamp em down.

Get a Flai blade (pronounced fly) they are awesome and will not only cut timber, but anything else including mild steel.
