Thread: Dewalt DCD985 no worky no more + replacement from the green warehouse?

Can't help on the repair, but I do know from a mate who runs one of the bunnings tool shops, they do just replace most walk up returned faulty tools....so worth a try for my money....good luck...

got on the blower when they opened the phone muppet said take it to wherever they repair it with receipt.
Bit of a knob jockey about it too
They refunded another drill I had no questions within the 30day satisfaction period.Also returned a battery at the time.
Realised a week later I wasn't refunded for the battery the register jockey didn't realise they were separate and stuck it back in the box (drill was a skin) and after a bit of quizzing about wether or not I did in fact also return the battery (yeah I made it up) and trying to bamboozle me with return jargon they tracked down the drill I returned in the tool department on the shelf ...... with the battery in the box too.

I might be wrong, but I thought DeWalt, like every other "quality" tool company these days offer a 3 year warranty.

What is it? A mains or cordless tool, and what?

Otherwise, the first thing I look at in a tool failure is worn brushes.

Better quality tools these days have "auto-stop" brushes that stop the tool before any damage is done....

oh yeah 3 year warranty off getting fixed now.
I was asking regarding if it was a case of swap & replace with them or leave it with them or take it somewhere else.
Was a case of take it somewhere else just gonna be cordless for a week
