Digital angle gauge
Those digital angle gauges look interesting, apart from Carbatec who sell theirs for $79 Heavy Duty Digital Angle Finder : CARBA-TEC are there any other places that sell these in Melbourne? Am also considering getting them from overseas but wanted to complete a project this weekend.

I bought a cheap one from ebay and it lasted for 3 months. I bought a cheap one from Bunnings, same problem. My Wixey from CT lasted for 3 years and then it went crazy but I managed to fix it. I also have a digital angle ruler from CT but after only 15 months use that shows nothing on the display (changed batteries multiple times etc) and I have not worked out how to open it up yet.

The Bosch digital protractor is great if you have $400 burning a hole in your pocket

I bought a cheap one (Bunnings I think) but it takes 3 2032 batts and goes flat quickly. The 9v sounds attractive. They work well, and I may buy one to replace mine -the coin batts are too expensive, I take them out and then don't use it as it is too much trouble

I bought the ebay version a couple of years ago and it is still working. It gets a hiding being thrown in the tool box to be used at the track for setting up front end alignment and still comes back for more. In fact you could buy several Ebay items and keep them spare for the price of the Wixey. The new Wixey is a bit different to the old...Wixey.com - Digital Angle Gauges
