Check out this spoke shave. Yours for only US$1175 or about AUS$1570. I can appreciate that it is a rare tool but.....

    Default Unhandled Rosewood Plow Plane

    G'day Mirboo,

But if you'd be happy to pay that much you'd probably also buy the "Unhandled Rosewood Plow Plane. Length: 9.00 Inches. Auction Item: (Estimate: 1,000.00-2,000.00)" http://www.mjdtools.com/tools/list_862/list_862.htm or 5th from bottom of the link you gave.

Which according to him has never been touched by human hands, must've been made by bald eagles or something.
I make things, I just take a long time.

I dont get it. I have one of these 'radiused' stanley 151's with the concave sole. It has a sweetheart logo on the blade and otherwise looks the same as his very limited photos. I paid $5 for it at the markets. I think its a hideous thing to use and am not surprised they stopped making it after a short production run. I wonder what mine is worth ? Probably nothing.

    Looks just like a Veritas:
    The Stanley:

    The Veritas (item 'B')

A tad less expensive (and possibly better made) to boot
