Ext Collet
Thinking of buying half inch extension Collet for router, for use in router table has any one had any experience with these? Are they safe and do they put any extra strain on the machine, I can purchase one for $50 delivered to home. I think this is a good price the company is MLCS in America.
I can buy out here for about $80 from Carba-Tec the one from MLCS is 2 ¼ inches the review seems to be in favour of them could I get some local input on them please
Regards Colbra

Here`s a photo of my extension in use. I`m using it here to rout a truss rod slot in a mandolin neck. This is what I purchased the tool for and it works beautifully. Just use a little common sense when you use yours, take a few more lighter cuts than you would if you were using your router without the extension and every thing will be OK.
