    Default I had forgotten

Just how damned heavy my trusty old Hitachi 9 1/4" saw is??

Haven't used it for a couple of years and today I used it to trim the top off a gate post.Of course arthritic thumbs don't help!!

Also used the builder's little Icon drop saw. For $100 I think it is a good little machine. Only cutting Radiata but still, a good littel beast.

The old Hitachi's are very robust. I had one for 15 years that I used to use to install air conditioners, cutting through brick walls, steel, concrete and just couldn't kill it. Then one day in a fit of generosity I gave it to my son, as far as I know its still going well. That would be 5 years ago now.
