I got my cattledog in the mail today......i wonder what the ST-250 with sliding extn table is like for quality. Doesn't sound bad for $1150. The T-260 combo is good value at $795 as well.

Got my notice in the mail today ...... at first I opened the Giant Tool Sale notice and with all of the medalist products I thought it was a sale at the local M10 ...... you know the ones ..... they open heeps of boxes of poor quality hand tools and stack them in the isles ...... M10 Werribee have the 10pc flat wood drill set for sale at the moment to.
Then came the machinery ...... nothing really super there .... the PT-200H for $850 isn't bad ...... the T-260 for $795 ..... not bad.
It seems like there are a few good deals .... much the same as the wood show .....Now proudly sponsored by Binford Tools. Be sure to check out the Binford 6100 - available now at any good tool retailer.

When i was browsing their store yesterday, I had a look at the tool sale table out the back. It was full of el-cheapo Medalist crap. I couldn't help thinking that it lowered their image somewhat. If i want cheap garbage, I'll go to a store i expect to get it from - or ebay. NOT a woodworking store like that.

What is the cost of the BP-16A during the 3 day sale. The list price is $789.

Thanks Gumby for the price. I was in there last week ready to purchase but thought there might be some specials coming. It was worth the wait.
