I didn't look closely enough at the top of the cutter. Also I notice that bit had an 8mm shank so it wouldn't fit you laminate trimmer anyway.

If the curved part is slightly eliptical I think Chambezio's comments are probably right in that it was originally made on a spindle moulder with HSS blades as typically they were used for production runs.

The other way would be to take your window along to somewhere that has a large range of router bits and see if you can find a tungsten bit that will fit your profile even if a little bit of remodelling is required. Remember there is some adjustment also by changing the size of the bearing: Not an option with HSS as they normally only have a pin (which also tends to burn the timber and this may be another issue as you are intending to varnish rather than paint)

I noticed wrong size shank, but that is easy enough - most bits are available in the full range of shank sizes, just a matter of finding the right profile.

If I find a bit that allows to slightly change the profile but accomplish my overall goal I will be sure to post. Infact I'll have to post a pic of the windows once done

Due to rural isolation and lack of being able to find what i wanted I finally bit the bullet. Between me and my daughter we used a hand scraper some chisels and sand paper.
