    What type of plastic is used in Husqvarna Chainsaw crankcases - Polypropelene, polyethylene or PVC?
    Does anyone know?

    I thought crank cases would be made from Magnesium. You could count out the three plastics you've listed below, they wouldn't stand the operating temperature. Sorry, can't help you any further
